I completed an Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Lethbridge and my Bachelor of Arts, with Major in Psychology from the University of Alberta.
I take an eclectic approach to counseling, meaning I use different methods based on what will work best for each person. I pull from approaches like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Trauma-informed practices, and other evidence-based methods tailored to each client’s unique needs. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and equal relationship with my clients so they feel safe as we work together toward healing.
I also understand that a person’s cultural background can have a profound impact on their day-to-day experiences, so I like to use culturally sensitive and culturally-informed practices. I believe mental health is also influenced by childhood experiences, relationships, and other factors such as sleep, so I explore these areas in therapy as well. For couples, I have received Level 1 Training in the Gottman Method.

Accepting new clients.
What really drew me to psychology was seeing how deeply mental health impacts every part of our lives. As a practitioner, my goal is to support individuals in overcoming their challenges and guide them toward healing and personal growth in a compassionate and understanding way.
My areas of focus include relationship challenges, mood disorders (such as anxiety and depression), as well as trauma and PTSD. I also have clinical experience working with individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and complex trauma. I work with both individuals and couples.
