I take an eclectic approach to counseling, meaning I use different methods based on what will work best for each person. I pull from approaches like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Trauma-informed practices. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and equal relationship with my clients so they feel safe as we work together toward healing.

I also understand that a person’s cultural background can really affect their experiences, so I make sure to use approaches that are culturally sensitive. I believe mental and emotional health is shaped by things like childhood experiences, relationships, and habits like sleep, so I explore these areas in therapy too.

Accepting new clients.

What really drew me to psychology was seeing how deeply mental health impacts every part of our lives. As a practitioner, my goal is to support individuals in overcoming their challenges and guide them toward healing and personal growth in a compassionate and understanding way.

My areas of focus include relationship challenges, mood disorders (such as anxiety and depression), as well as trauma and PTSD. I also have clinical experience working with individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and complex trauma. I work with both individuals and couples.
